Shona Gordon, piano student, wins Piano Solo Competition

Shona Gordon, a piano student major in Biological Engineering, won first place at the Mississippi Music Teachers Association competition under the Freshman/Sophomore Piano Solo Division. She is a student of Piano Professor, Rebekah Moore. She performed Sergei Rachmaninoff's Prelude in B Minor, Op. 32 No. 10. MMTA is a not-for-profit organization whose funds are used solely to further the art of music, and promote the growth and professional development of its members by providing programs that encourage and support teaching, performance, composition and research.
