Rebekah Moore Schultz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Mississippi State University and a Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. While at MSU, Rebekah studied with Dr. Jackie Edwards-Henry and Dr. Rosângela Sebba. Her graduate studies at SWBTS were under the guidance and influence of Dr. Jill Sprenger and Dr. Robert Smith.

During her time at MSU and SWBTS, Rebekah taught private piano lessons, group piano classes, and group music theory classes. Abroad, Rebekah has taught, given masterclasses, and performed in Mexico and India. From July 2015 to May 2017, she held the position of Assistant Professor of Music at Patkai Christian College in Nagaland, India. During her two years there, she taught class piano, music appreciation, music history, music research, and piano lessons. She was also accompanist for the school choir and had the opportunity to perform in several concerts and lead workshops for other music teachers in the area.

Currently, Rebekah is teaching private piano lessons and group piano classes in Starkville and at MSU. She is an active member of the Golden Triangle Music Forum, the local affiliate of Mississippi Music Teachers Association. Rebekah is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Music Education, with a concentration in Piano from The University of Mississippi. Her research is focused on the area of piano lessons, class, practice, and performance.
