Dr. Gary Packwood Headlines Jackson State University Choral Symposium

On September 15 -16, Dr. Packwood, MSU’s director of choral activities, led the second annual Choral Symposium at Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. Dr. Packwood presented four lectures and one music reading session. The lectures were “Build Community in the Choral Setting,” “Building Expressive Singing Through Quality Literature,” “Choral Director as Voice Teacher,” and “Inspiring A Student-Centered Classroom.” The music reading session was sponsored by sheetmusicdeals.com.
