MSU Percussion Students to Perform at International Convention

Four MSU music education students will be performing in competitions at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN. David Jenkins will perform Kazunori Miyake's “Chain” in the solo marimba individuals competition on Thursday, November 10. Trenton Brown, Joshua Ingles, and Caleb Mooneyham will perform Joseph Tompkins’s “Trio in a Rudimental Style” in the Concert Chamber Percussion Ensemble Competition on Friday, November 11. The flagship conference of the percussion community, PASIC is attended by several thousand educators, performers, and students each year. Additional information is available at www.pasic.org.
