The MSU Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Jason Baker, will perform an hour-long feature concert at the Mississippi Day of Percussion on Saturday, January 26 at Hinds Community College in Raymond. The program consists of works for contemporary chamber ensemble by William Duckworth, Christopher Deane, Rachel C. Walker, Askell Masson, Steven Snowden, and Michael Laurello. The event is sponsored by the Mississippi Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society and features nationally acclaimed guest artists, clinicians, and student competitions.
