Mississippi State University and Hinds Community College are excited to welcome you to participate in our 2023 MSU-Hinds CC Solo and Ensemble Festival!

This festival is open to students grades 8 through 12 and to community college students.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to expand their musicianship skills by performing a solo or in a chamber music ensemble with their friends for feedback from professional musicians and teachers.

Two ways to participate in the Solo and Ensemble Festival this year:

1. Live in person

WHEN? Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the new Lecture-Recital Hall in the Music Building at Mississippi State University.

*We will provide a collaborative pianist for those performing solos on the Recommended Repertoire List live in person at the festival*

*ALL PERCUSSION auditions must be submitted VIRTUALLY instead of performing live in person*

2. Virtually

HOW? Email video submissions by Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:59pm (preferably unlisted YouTube video format) to matthew.haislip@msstate.edu .
