About the Festival

The MSU Department of Music is excited to invite you to participate in our Solo and Ensemble Virtual Festival! This festival is open to community college students and students grades 8 through 12. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to expand their musicianship skills by performing a solo or in a chamber music ensemble with their friends. Students will record videos of their ensembles or solos (with live accompaniment or along with videos/mp3s/etc. of accompaniment tracks) and submit them to us for written feedback and for rankings by category.

More information may be found in the Solo and Ensemble Rules and Registration Form above. Registration and the $10 fee must be postmarked no later than April 22, 2022. The videos must be submitted no later than April 22, 2022 as well.
