Emily Jennings

Emily Jennings serves as the Student Recruitment Coordinator at Mississippi State University’s Department of Music. A proud MSU alumna, Emily graduated from the Music Department with a Bachelor of Music Education, concentrating in Voice and a Minor in Audio Production. During her time at Mississippi State, she was actively involved in several areas of campus, serving as an Ambassador for the College of Education and President of the Choral Leadership Council. Through these roles, she gained experience representing the university at recruitment events, connecting with prospective students and their families, and supporting student engagement initiatives. In addition to her involvement on campus, Emily has gained professional experience in university administration, event coordination, and community engagement. She currently serves as Manager of Operations for the Starkville-MSU Symphony Orchestra, where she oversees concert logistics, marketing initiatives, and orchestra personnel. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music Education degree from Mississippi State University with the hope of continued research concerning the student experience in collegiate music programs. As a Starkville native and Mississippi State alumna, Emily is excited to continue investing in the local and university communities and helping prospective students discover the opportunities available to them at Mississippi State.
