The MSU Symphony and Philharmonia welcomes music majors, music minors and non-music degree seeking students who are passionate about music and want to continue developing their skills along with likeminded peers.

The ensembles meet three times a week to prepare two concerts per semester. With a wide variety of repertoire, the ensembles offer their members the opportunity to learn different musical styles and improve their ensemble playing competency. Highly qualified musicians are also selected to join concerts of the professional MSU – Starkville Symphony.
