FMB Alumni Band Reunion to Feature Building Naming Ceremony for Dr. Kent Sills
Mississippi State University has announced that the Band/Choral Rehearsal Hall will be renamed the “Kent Sills Band Hall” in honor of former Director of Bands, Dr. Kent Sills. A ceremony honoring this occasion will take place during the 2021 Alumni Band Reunion on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm CDT at the facility. Members of the Sills family will be in attendance at the ceremony on Friday as well as alumni band rehearsal on Saturday morning. We hope FMB alumni from all eras of band leadership will be able to come and celebrate together.
