Studio Rental
A standard recording session is scheduled for an initial duration of three (3) hours. This provides the necessary time for artists to arrive, setup, warmup, become custom to the space, and prepare to begin recording. Additional hours may be added upon request, subject to availability and applicable fees.

Record in a professional studio environment with the support of an experienced recording engineer. This three-hour session includes setup, tracking, and editing of your project. You’ll receive the complete Pro Tools session files along with full-quality WAV bounces (24-bit, 48k) of your finished tracks. Recording Engineer
A recording engineer is responsible for capturing high-quality audio during recording sessions. Their duties include setting up and operating recording equipment, adjusting sound levels, selecting and positioning microphones, and ensuring optimal sound quality. They may also provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with artists and producers to achieve the desired sound.

Mixing Engineers
We can recommend highly-experienced mix engineers in the MSU community for your pre-release tracks, or a student mix engineer that will bring a measure of polish to your project and also gain valuable experience working with clients. Costs for mixing your recording(s) will vary based on the number of tracks, length of piece(s), and the level of mixing engineer.
Event Recording (Lecture Recital Hall)

The client will receive a full-quality stereo WAV file for each full piece on the recital. Each file will have appropriate fade-in and fade-out of applause as needed. Files are delivered via a cloud storage link (DropBox, Google Drive, or One Drive) within one week of the performance.
Video with Department Titling | $65.00 |

Each full piece will be a separate MP4 video file, with Department of Music logo and titling to include the name of the work and performers.
